"Lippia" is a collective exhibition that takes its name from a perennial and resistant plant, which grows between two environments.  Like this plant, the multidisciplinary works presented in this exhibition groped their way to clear a passage from one world to another.  They present a humanity that creates living spaces, but where the invasive and artificial marks of capitalism cling.  Still distilling, here and there, false happiness, the nightmare from which we seek to escape is deep and dense.  Forcing de-sublimation and refusing tragic complacency, the works presented sketch a vital force that sees itself taking tortuous paths never to die out.

By the tilting of narrative power, in the painting of Romain Tallet, by the constant oscillation between control and vulnerability, honesty and the staging of the self in I Wanna Be Blind by Naïmé Perrette, by the fallowing of an old piece of furniture  bourgeois, in Untitled (Empire) by Edouard Pagant, a story is built, a global story is anchored in different places in the world.  The creative and political charge of the works tries to escape the gravity that gave birth to them, tracing furrows in a suspended time, eyes wide open.
